Terms and Conditions of Services

 

1. Scope of Services

Liight Me Up Again Services provides the following non-clinical services:

  • Consultation
  • Social Work (non-clinical)
  • Leadership & Career Coaching
  • Relationship Coaching
  • Recovery & Transformative Coaching (non-clinical)
  • Self-Guided Programs
  • Public Speaking

Note: These services are for personal growth, empowerment, and education. They are not a substitute for therapy, mental health treatment, diagnosis, or medical advice.

2. Eligibility

  • Clients must be 18 years or older unless written parental/guardian consent is provided.
  • NDIS clients must have self-managed, plan-managed, or agency-managed funding.
  • International clients must acknowledge services are governed by the laws of South Australia and are non-clinical.

3. Confidentiality & Privacy

  • All sessions are confidential per the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
  • Information is shared only with consent or when legally required.
  • No internal use of identifiers or overseas data sharing without consent.
  • Applies to all services: coaching, consultation, social work, programs.

4. Informed Consent

  • Clients understand services are non-clinical and complementary.
  • They may inform their mental health provider if under care.
  • Referral or clearance from a healthcare provider may be required.
  • Clients may withdraw from services anytime.

5. Client and Coach Responsibilities

Coach Responsibilities:

  • Uphold professionalism, ethics, and service scope.
  • Clarify coaching is not therapy or diagnosis.

Client Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for wellbeing.
  • Communicate honestly and participate fully.
  • Inform their mental health provider if under care.
  • Accept outcomes and decisions made are their responsibility.

6. Booking & Payment

  • Sessions are pre-booked and paid before unless agreed otherwise.
  • Accepted: Stripe, bank transfer, invoicing (NDIS).
  • International clients are charged in AUD unless noted.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Minimum 24-hour notice for cancellation or reschedule.
  • Less than 24 hours = full session fee may apply.
  • Refunds are reviewed case-by-case.

8. Code of Conduct

  • All parties agree to ethical, respectful behavior.
  • Services may stop if respect or boundaries are violated.

9. Disclaimers

  • No guarantees or outcomes promised.
  • Clients are responsible for their own decisions.
  • Services are educational and for empowerment only.

10. Intellectual Property

  • All content belongs to Liight Me Up Again Services.
  • Reproduction/sharing requires written permission.

11. Jurisdiction

  • Governed by South Australia law.
  • International clients accept South Australian jurisdiction.

12. NDIS Client Acknowledgment

  • Services align with NDIS goals.
  • They understand services are non-clinical.

13. International Client Terms

  • Services are personal development, not therapy.
  • Clients must comply with local laws.

14. Termination, Fees, and Service Conditions

a) Right to Terminate

  • Either party may end the agreement with written notice.
  • Immediate termination applies for ethical/safety violations, non-compliance, or crisis situations.

b) Session Validity

  • Packages must be used within 3 months unless agreed otherwise.
  • Extensions only by discussion.

c) Refunds and Disputes

  • No refund after session is delivered.
  • Prepaid refunds may be pro-rata minus fees.
  • No refunds for missed appointments or change of mind.
  • Disputes should be raised in writing for resolution within 14 business days.

d) Changes to Services or Pricing

  • Prices and services may change with notice.
  • Substitutes provided in cases of coach unavailability.

e) Client Accountability

  • Client is responsible for action and decisions.
  • Coach provides guidance, not control.

f) No Guarantees

  • Results vary based on client engagement.
  • Coaching is a collaborative process, not a promise of results.
